Practice Service-Cost Comparison
Explanation of Terms
Enrollment Fee: The fee each member (patient) pays to their doctor to enroll in that practice.
Monthly Fee:  The fee each member (patient) pays per month to maintain their membership in thir doctor's practice.
Office Visit  Fee:  The discounted fee for an office visit.
Multiple Family Member Discount: Whether or not the practice offers discounts when multiple members from the same family join.
Hospital Care: "Practice Physicians" means doctors in that practice (or call group weekend/holiday covering physicians) take care of their patients when hospitalized.  "Hospitalists" means hospital staff  physicians assume care for that practice's hospitalized patients.
Wait Time New Appointment: The average amount of time a new patient waits for an appointment once joining the practice.
Same Day Visits: Whether the practice strives to accommodate appointments the same day patients call with illness.
Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Internal: Practice physicians only cover after hours for emergencies.  Shared: Practice physicians share after hours emergency overage with physicians outside the practice.
